I will be hosting the second annual Dark Friday Event tomorrow evening at my home for my crocheting and jewelry business The Dark At Heart! 

What you can expect is a fabulous, inviting environment filled with plenty of holiday gift ideas including hand-worked crocheted items, vintage upcycled jewelry, and home decor. Drinks and refreshments will also be available.

Crochet Doily Bracelets

These were crocheted from the first few rounds of vintage doily patterns and then connected with jump rings. Super unique and full of detail. Many stitches were used to create these little beauties which are now available on Etsy!

I just added this lovely piece to Etsy after they were such a huge success last weekend at the Eco Chic Craftacular show. I hand crocheted the circle motif from a vintage doily pattern and then added black glass pearls along with some black ribbon to construct the "chain". I love the look of this necklace and every time I wear mine out I get so many compliments on it!

I was so excited to receive this sweater clip in a vintage jewelry lot I purchased on Ebay! I removed the "clip" portion and added a few jump rings and then attached it to a vintage chain that I purchased at an antique store. Very simple but oh so classic looking!! Find the listing here!

Simply Sorbet Etsy Treasury

This lovely weather we are having in Ohio today has inspired me to create this lovely Etsy Treasury . How I wish I could bike down to the local ice cream parlor and grab a raspberry sorbet treat! Take a second to daydream and Enjoy!!

I recently received this pendant as part of a large "vintage estate auction" sale and immediately fell in love with it. Almost to the point of having to seriously decide if this is something that I keep for myself or do I offer it up to a buyer who will hopefully love it just as much as I would! Well, obviously it is up for sale! This necklace features two of the three colors (red-black) that I am/always have been obsessed with (red, black,white).
